Thank goodness it is Friday!! I am pretty sure we are all saying that. Isn't it weird how some weeks just seem to drag along and others are so busy that you blink and it is over. Anyways I am happy to have a weekend ahead, not only is it going to be nice to sleep in but also it is going to be an exciting weekend. I have friend who is selling off her scrapbook and stamping supplies since she no longer uses them and is kind enough to pass them along to others she knows will give them some TLC. Then I will be off with my sister to the Signature craft show in the new Ottawa Congress Center. If any of you have been you know there are some great things there for anyone's Christmas list. Lastly we have decided to go see the Help Santa Toy Parade in downtown Ottawa. It is suppose to be a mild night so it will be nice to stand with our hot chocolates, or latte in the adults case and watch all the pretty floats. Should be nice since I recall the parade in past years being during the day so it will be nice to see the floats all lite up.
Any how I do have another Christmas card to show off today. Now I am sure from the picture it doesn't look very traditional with the colours for the holiday but there is something that kind of reminds me of Christmas. The wreath was another quilled creation I played with yesterday. The plain card stock is from Recollections, pattern paper is Lillybee Design, and the strips for the quilled wreath as well as the pattern was from Quilled Creations. The red bling on the wreath is from the dollar store. The scallop circle is nestabilites and the circle was one called cookie cutters from quickutz. The sentiment is close to my heart and the label that holds the sentiment is papertrey ink matching stamp and die set Label Basics. I appreciate you looking and checking in on me. Hope you have enjoyed and have a wonderful weekend, I do hope to be able to post this weekend too during the down time. Take Care
That is a great card....I really like the quilling you have done. Will it require you to send it in a padded envelope so they don't get crushed in the mail.
