Wet Wednesday

“They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world. Someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” -Tom Bodett.

Not so sure Mr Tom Bodett knew what it was like being stuck in the house with five small children under the age of 5. Or else he might have said warm sunny weather too, lol. So it is another day stuck in the house cause of the rain. I am hoping it stops before I have to walk to the school and pick up the kids. What is going on this fall with the weather, if it is not raining it is cold and windy. I can't believe only three weeks ago everyone was complaining about how hot it was. Well at least this is a short week and this is really a Thursday for me cause tomorrow is my Friday.
I have a small share today, since I finally finished them last night. My sister and I have decided to host a joint Epicure part in October and wanted to send out some invites. Since my sister knows I love to make cards she said I could design them. It was hard to decide what to use and what they should look like but in the end I used my cricut to design them. From my kitchen cartridge is where the apron is from, the paper is Michaels Recollections, the ribbon is dollar store and stampin up. The spotted red and white paper was from a paper pack and I apologize I do not recall the name. Used my pink ATG gun to adhere it down plus with some dollar store pop dots. Hope you enjoy. My next project will be fall, thanksgiving and Halloween cards. Presently trying to get a Halloween one done that is going to Europe so need to get that out soon.
Take care and hope to see you soon.

Scrapbookers Dictionary

Hello Everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since I have done a proper post. My grandmother passed away after a very long battle with cancer. So we are still trying to get back to normal but with school started this week everyone should be back into a routine by the end of next week. Not sure I am ready for all the homework and that routine but I am sure we will be fine.
So today is a rainy cold day so we are staying indoors. I am taking a quick techie break while the kids are busy playing Lego. Anyways I got an email from Gwen she is a Stampin Up demonstrator that posts to one of the groups I belong too and she sent around this Scrapbookers Dictionary that I thought was so cute that I just had to forward on to my friends, family, and fellow paper and craft addicts. Hope it puts a smile on your face like it did to mine.
Have a good day.

My Weekend Creations

( This was suppose to be posted earlier last month but due to family issues it is being posted today)

Hello everyone,

Well that was a well deserved cup of coffee if I do say so myself. Now as promised here are a few of the cards that I was able to put together over the last weekend. On my Stampin Up Girls Only Weekend Getaway. Now I do have to give credit to Cecilia and Jen for some of the creative input for these cards. And here we go. Most of the supplies are Stampin Up stamps, Recollections paper, Stampin Up ink or Tombow markers, along with glue glider pro glue, Dollar store pop dots, Stampin Up and Dollar store bling, Stampin Up dies, embossing folders and the big shot, and last of all one of my favorite guys - cricut. I hope you all enjoy these cards. Not sure who is getting what and when. Have a great day and hope to be back here real soon.
