Happy Halloween

Good Morning,
I hope everyone had a good weekend! Ours always seems to be so busy. Between rushing for volleyball to getting back and ready for dance class, and then the pumpkin patch too!  I am sure everyone has excited little kids today looking forward to the festivities tonight. Every year I make a little something for the classes and of course this year is no different. The first one was Rosie's class treats and she choose black and orange jelly beans. Next is cards for the teachers with a small chocolate bar inside, and lastly is Katie's class treats and she choose rockets. The tags on the class treats have all been created with spellbinder dies. The words are stamps from a CTMH stamp set and the paper is all recollections. Ribbon was one from Michael's that was on sale last year. For the teachers cards they were recollections paper with a CTMH stamp. There is a Martha Stewart punch in the corners which I traced with some silver glitter not sure the picture does it justice. I also used some ruby red glitter too on the skulls eye patch. Hope you enjoy and I will post some of our Halloween pictures for you tomorrow. Have a happy and safe Halloween and thanks for checking in!

Hello Everyone,
I don't have a title today cause couldn't think of one. I am only quickly jumping in to post
while waiting for Rosie's bus to come. Don't have any cards today but do have more of the
ABC book to show you. I will in a few days have the Halloween treats that are going to
the school to show you. Plus I will be starting to work on my crafts for the Christmas craft
stuff for the school. But will try to remember to keep everyone updated. I hope you enjoy
and I hope to be back soon!

Rainy Day

Hello all,
Boy sure am missing that lovely sun and warm weather we had back last weekend! Guess fall has really started. Before we know it the clocks will have to be turned back and we will be getting up in the dark and having dinner in the dark too. Oh well it just gives us a reason to craft and have the fireplace on. And sip hot chocolate while looking at blogs. I have a picture of the turkey soup I made from scratch that the kids loved, but it is still on my camera have not transferred it over yet. As the girls said it was really good but to them it could have been saltier. I will post more about it tomorrow when I upload the pictures. What I do have to show you today is more pictures of the ABC book I made for the kids. Looking back at the pictures have to say I am disappointed that the glitter that is on some of them has not come up on the image as well as it does in person. I hope you have been enjoying anyways. Thanks for looking and I appreciate you coming back and checking on me.

P.S. We did get an update on the travelling duo and things are going well. Past the worst part which is the mountains. Am glad that they do seem to be enjoying themselves. And the dogs seem to be ok with the driving too.

Hump Day

Good Morning,
Today I have a few more pictures of my ABC book to show you. My girls really enjoyed helping in the process of these, and Rosie loved to guess what I would for each animal. There were many discussions as to what should be made for each letter. Since I wasn't spelling the word for each image I didn't want to make anything that wasn't too well known. I forgot to add yesterday that the stitching on the letters is just done with my white signo gel pen. The page size was 8x8 and the letters were cut at 3 inches and the images for the letters were between 2 and 3 inches. They were all produced on my gypsy and cricut.

I have really enjoyed making these books and hope you are enjoying seeing my creation. I forgot to mention that the girls and I have also been working at getting our scrapbook room under control and will be soon ready to show off a few pictures of it too. As I am writing this have not heard from my Mum and Dad as too how they are doing on the road but will keep you updated and information comes available. Thanks for checking in, and catch up soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a very nice relaxing Thankgiving. Not sure if your fridges are as full of food still as ours is but hope you enjoyed yourselves. I apologize for letting life get in the way of my blogging again. Just have to fall into a routine again with school and work and colder weather coming. This winter the kids and I are going to try and do some learning of our letters and numbers, hopefully while they are practicing I can then get a post made at the same time. So since we are going to need some visual aids for learning our letters, I have been making some ABC books for the kids birthdays, and I know in a previous post I promised to show you some of the pages. Unfortunately when Rosie took the pictures of the pages that we had made, they were not always in focus or the image was not completely in the view finder when she clicked to take the picture. Luckily though I did have another book to make and have some images to show you today. The letters were cut using Plantation cricut cartridge and the Create a Critter cartridge. All the papers are Recollections from Michaels. The glitter is a combination of Michaels dollar bin and the Stickles brand. I used my xyron for the adhesive as well a my foam adhesives and ATG gun. I hope you enjoy.

On a side note I just wanted to say that my Mum and Dad have just started a very exciting journey
in their lives. Driving their new RV down to the southern states for the winter months. As much as I am going to miss them, I hope they know how proud of them that we are that they are going after their dreams. I am wishing them safe travels and hope to hear from them soon! Thanks for checking in on my blog and me. I hope you have enjoyed what you have seen. And hope to be back soon. Thanks.
