Hello, well I hope that everyone is not expecting the crazy weather that we are suppose to be getting today. I think they are calling for hail, snow, freezing rain and then on top of that just the plain regular rain too! Anyways at least we are in the warm house. Again I apologize I do not have a card or craft of my own but what I do have is this gorgeous card I have received from Christine. Who is also participating in the Canadian Card Exchange with me. As you can see she is a very talented crafter. Unfortunately this picture does not do her hard work justice. She has cut out this little girls as well as each one has different layers to her popped up on a dimensional. Even the little duck is popped up. Thank you very much Christine for the wonderful card, it really brightened my day. I hope everyone else enjoys the card as well and I am hoping now that the laundry is done to escape to my craft room too. Have a wonderful day and only one more for the week, gotta love that. As always thanks for looking and we'll see you back here soon.
Thanks

Terrific Tuesday
Good Morning,
I hope everyone is having a good day. Nice to think that it is actually like a Wednesday cause of the shorter week. Gotta love that. Well today I do not have a card of my own to show off but instead I have one from a very talented lady named Carole. We both have signed up for the Canadian Card Exchange. Now not sure if you recall me mentioning this in an earlier blog but this is where a bunch of very talented crafters get together and send each other handmade cards for six months. So each month you get to receive a nice handmade card for the six months. Mine always seem to arrive on days when I need a little cheering up. And this one with its cheery colours sure did the trick when it arrived. Thanks for having a look and check back soon for the second card I received for the month of April.
Thanks as always for looking.

Wet Wednesday
Good Morning,
Well doesn't look as nice out today as it has the beginning of the week. Kind of grey outside, the weather man says chance of showers this afternoon. Oh well I guess we have to have a little rain to get the grass green and the flowers to grow. Don't know about you guys but this kind of day makes me wanna crawl back under the covers and have a few more hours rest. Unfortunately not in the cards, lol get it cards, for me today. Oh well guess I will have to make sure to have a pot of coffee on.
Anyways off to my card that I would like to share today. This card I made for a lady that was looking at sending and Easter card to her family. As well as I cut off a few extras for some of my family members. The cuts were made on my cricut with the Easter 2010 cartridge. The bunny is cut from velvet paper so that it is soft and fuzzy. Her bow is the glitter stack from Recollections. The yellow circle and green scalloped circle is also from the Easter cartridge and is Recollections paper as well. The pink mat is Recollections but has been run through the cuttlebug with an Embossing die. The picture doesn't show the images well but they are a bunch of butterflies. I have highlighted them with pink passion ink, and used my white sharpies pen to highlight their trail. And the white base is just prefolded cards from Michael's. I hope you enjoy this card, and thanks for checking in will hopefully have something else to show off tomorrow if this coffee ever kicks in, lol. Have a great day and hope to see you back here soon.

April Showers Bring May flowers
Good Morning,
Well I am not sure about anyone else but WOW hasn't that just been a crazy few days of weather. I thought the whole house was shaking a couple of times when the thunder cracked. It was very surprising that neither of the girls woke up during the storm. That is not to say I wasn't woke up by two very disturbed animals. Both the cat and the dog did not enjoy the thunderstorm. LOL. Oh well as the title says all this rain will bring us some wonderful May flowers.
I have a quick share for you today. My youngest daughter had a birthday party to attend on the weekend and needed a card for the little girl. My create a critter cartridge has not been having much loving lately so I thought I would pull it out. The patterned paper is from an old stack of stampin up. the pinks and greens for the mat and base are stampin up, but the pinks I used for the pampered pooch was Micheals recollections. It doesn't show up very well in the picture but the bows are actually cut from glitter paper. Which Micheals do have in a paper pack of recollections. So is the bling in the middle of the bows too. Her fancy googlie eyes are also from Michaels and are a collection with eye lashes and are very cute. The sentiment at the bottom of the card is from Papertrey Ink. Hope the little girl enjoyed it. I know I had fun making it and I do love to make easel cards. Hope everyone has a good day and hope to catch up again soon. We are heading out now to enjoy the nice bright sun and walk the dog. Thanks for stopping by!

Rain Rain Go Away
Good Morning,
I hope everyone is doing well this morning. Do not know about where you live but the weather really is only good for ducks here today. I was hoping to get the kids out for a walk but unless I wanna be drying off 5 wet little duckies myself I think we will find stuff to do inside, lol. Have to say though at least it is warmer. Means the spring is on its way and the May flowers should be a sight.
Now not sure if you follow my blog you would see that yesterday I spoke about a Canadian Card Exchange card swap I am on. Where for six months straight you make two cards and send them out to two names on the card swap list. It is all Canadian ladies or gentlemen on the list and all the cards each month need to be sent out by the 20Th of the month so that the recipient can receive them in the month they are intended for. I have to admit I am very excited to see and show off the cards I will receive. There are some very talented crafters out there. Anyhow the card I am showing off today is the second I made for the month of April. The patterned paper is an old Stampin Up not sure if is retired or not, and the cream card base is Micheals prefolded cards. The blue and yellow is Micheals recollection collection. The image and ink is both Stampin Up as well as the sentiment. The ribbon is just out of the dollar bin at Micheals. The adhesive I used was my atg and some dollar store pop dots I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it. I hope the recipient does too, lol. Hope to have a cricut project to show you soon too. Have a good day and try to stay dry and warm. As always thanks for looking and hope to see you back here soon.

I am Back!
Hello Everyone,
I first want to apologize for being away so long. Between the kids being on spring break here and colds and flu season it has been crazy around the house. But it seems like everything has calmed down here and we can get back into our routines. Which of course one of mine is to keep my blog going with new posts at least once a week if not more.
Anyone else happy to see the grass. Even though it is not yet green and lush it is nice to finally see the snow melting away. And seems like everyone is having Spring or Easter Blog Hops. I did follow a few of these and man I have to tell you there are some very talented crafters out there. Gave me quiet the boost to get my Easter cards started. One that I have to mention starts over at MadebyJacqueline, now I want to mention this cause I believe this is her first blog hop and there were some great ladies that participated in the hop.
Now my next topic I wanted to mention is that I have joined a wonderful bunch of crafters on a monthly swap called Canadian Card Exchange. So each month we have to send out two cards to two ladies or gentlemen on the list. This round goes from April to September. So I will be needing to make two cards each month to send out, now if they are the same or different is up to me. I also get to use whatever material I would like. I do believe that we can choose whichever topic we like. So doesn't have to be just a birthday card, or just a thank you card. Which is nice cause then the recipient can either keep it for inspiration or pass it along to someone else to enjoy. Now this is the first time I have done something like this an am looking forward to seeing the cards I receive. Of course I will be showing you all the cards I have send as well as the ones I have received. So on to one of the cards I will be sending this month. I used a premade card I purchased from Micheals. The patterned paper is one from an old Stampin Up stack. The blue cardstock is Michaels recollections. The image is a Stampin Up image from the SAB (sell a bration) collection. Of course I have used my atg adhesive an some mono liquid adhesive as well. I hope you enjoy and check back later in the week to see the second card I sent out. Thanks for checking in and see you soon.
