Stampin Up Girls Only Weekend Getaway

I know these pictures are coming a week late, but as a Mum getting a weekend away there is a lot of things that needed to be done when I got home. And anyway how does the saying go, better late than never. For anyone that does not know I have a wonderful Stampin Up demonstrator that every year takes her 10 top hostesses and customers up to her family cottage. There she treats them to wonderful door prizes, great food, and a chance to meet new people. Plus of course tons of Stampin up products to play with and try out. Now at this point I must comment and how incredibly talented the ladies that were up there are, they inspired me to think outside of the box and use my patterned paper for more than just scrapbooking, plus to put some colours together that I would not have normally put together. So without farther babbling let me post a few of the pictures from that weekend.

This is the view from where we all got to craft from, over looking the lake on a foggy wet morning. I was able to grab this photo before anyone else was up.

















This is a picture of the wonderful space we were allowed to create in. Again it over looks the lake. This was taken just before we packed up to leave so all the creations were tidied up.













Here I am the lucky winner of the first door prize of the weekend. Thank you Jen. How did you know this was a set that I had on my wish list. Thank you so much I hadn't even prepared a speech.








And now I think I need my first cup of coffee of the day and figure out what else needs to be done. I will be posting later a few of the creations from the weekend too. Again I would like to thank you to Jen an awesome Stampin Up demonstrator and friend. As well as the other ladies that were there you are wonderfully creative and seeing your work inspires me to think outside the box and to use up my DSP.
