Pancake Tuesday

Good Morning everyone, I hope all is well in blog land. I am looking forward to having a night off from cooking. Because we have some very generous friends who every year offer to cook pancakes for us all. Now I have to admit even if we were not heading out for pancakes tonight that I would still have gotten the night off from cooking because in our house my husband is the "Pancake King". The girls do enjoy my pancakes but we all have to agree that he does make the best. Now I might be bias in this opinion cause of course it does mean I won't have to cook, lol!
I have just one card to show off which I have to say, is one of my favorites. My brother in law turns the big 40 on Saturday. He is not a big birthday person so we have respected his wishes not to really do anything for the day except send a card. The ice creams I have been told look like cupcakes on a plate, but I do believe that they are suppose to be ice cream scoops. Funny story cause this cut is of course done from my circut but the cartridge was very amusing. So Mum works at Michaels and called me to say that the cartridges were on sale for $49.00. So I said great we can share one if you like. Well in the end we decided that we could afford to buy 2 cartridges and share the cost. Since sharing the cost of a regular cartridge works out the same as buying them on sale. So we agreed we wanted Simply Charmed and Birthday Bash. Well there was some confusion on who was buying which cartridge cause in the end we had two Simply Charmed and no Birthday Bash. So I did end up before the sale was up going and getting Birthday Bash and so this is where the cut is from. The paper is recollections from michaels. The patterned paper, which I have to say works really well with this and will be used in a future scrapbook page that I have in mind and is from Me and My Big Ideas paper stack. The saying is a Stampin Up stamp from Sweet Scoops. The banner was cut from Everyday Paper Dolls. Of course used atg gun adhesive, dollar store pop dots and some stickles. Oh and used Stampin Up Basic Black ink. I hope you enjoy and hopefully if I get some crafting time today I will see you back here tomorrow.

  1. Very cute! I do think that those may be cupcakes, I know that cartridge has ice cream too. I guess you could embellish it to look like either one :)
